Website Construction

Chris

The “Home” page was easy to construct but did take some time due to the elements of the page. The text and pictures were easy to implement and give the page some character, as well as letting the people who view the website know what ratings the film received. The button “Book Tickets Now” was simple and easy to do as all I had to do was put a button onto the page and copy and paste the link to the Bluewater cinema website that acts as a hyperlink.

The “Story” page construction simply consisted of me adding a text box and copy and pasting the synopsis of the film into it. The construction also consisted of two pictures being uploaded to Wix, resized and put appropriately into place on the page.

The last page was the “Soundtrack” page which was constructed the same way as the “Trailer page”. I inputted a YouTube video player onto the page and resized it to fill the page. I then copied and pasted the link of the soundtrack into the settings of the YouTube video player so the soundtrack could be seen on the page. The only difference to the “Trailer” page is that the YouTube video plays as the page is opened, so the viewers are reminded of the soundtrack in the trailer.
